I have customized show quality Breyer horses since 1995. Here are a sampling of some of Breyer Stablemates that I have repainted and haired. I have used floss and wool for the manes and tails. I have shown how the horses looked originally, followed by the customized results.
He started out as the new Stablemate Morgan sculpted by Kathleen Moody. I repainted him as a lovely chocolate brown and white pinto which could even be shown as a Chincoteague! Note the intricate detail where the brown and white meet. Also notice the painted eyewhites. Acrylic.
