How long has The English Robin been in
operation?
The grand opening of this website was on
June 1, 2001, but I have had eBay experience since 1999 under the
identification, englishrobin.

store?
This site is operated in Bedford, Va..
This is an online store only.
What is the story behind The English Robin?
Read all about it on the "About
Us" page. This website was created as a means for financing my
education! I am
dispersing pieces of my many collections as well as offering you a wide variety
of my original artwork and handicrafts! For more of my artwork, please visit my sister site, www.sarahmeadows.com.
Privacy Policy?
We will not sell your e-mail address or identity to
outsiders. Credit card payments online through PayPal are secure.
Neither I nor others will see your card number. (See payment information below)
Item availability?
Many of my items for sale are the only ones
available (namely the collectibles). The exception to this would be
my artwork, such as pins, prints, reproductions, etc.
However, I will notify you of the item's
availability if you inquire and plan on making a purchase. I will also
post notices along with each item (item with quantity of 1) such as "On
Hold" or "Sold" so as to avoid confusion.
How do I make an order?
I have an order form
that you can print out and mail in if you plan on sending payment by snail
mail. If you are using a PC, right-click on that page and select your
browser's print option.
Before you pay, please e-mail me with the
description/title of the item/s you wish to purchase, along with your shipping
address. This way, I can calculate USPS Priority Mail shipping rates based
on your package's weight and your location.
I will check for your item's availability.
I will then e-mail you with your total costs, including shipping &
handling. I will also give you a unique customer order # to distinguish
your order from the others. You will in turn, make reference to this
number on your order form/payment.
Types of payment accepted?
I accept personal checks, money orders, and
online credit card payments. Personal checks must clear my back before I
can ship. M.O.'s and online payments get immediate shipping.
I accept online payments from www.paypal.com.
It is a free, secure website, and neither I nor other outside sources will see your
credit card number.

Is there a sales tax?
As of Sept. 2004, Virginia residents must pay 5% sales tax.
Do you ship internationally?
What is your return policy?
At The English Robin, all sales are final.
I have described each item as accurately as possible. If there are any
flaws on the item, the description will say so. I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND
that you have your order insured by the USPS. This is optional, and it
does cost a slight amount, but the security of getting a full monetary refund if
your order is damaged in transit is worth it! All items are packaged very
carefully to ensure a safe journey.
If it's any consolation to you, out of my years
of selling on eBay, I've never had anything break in the mail.
